Singles dance club to bop, twist for charity

first_imgLANCASTER – To thank the Lancaster Elks Lodge for lending its hall for weekly dances, the 40 and Up Singles Dance Club’s dance this Sunday will benefit the Elks-supported charity Children with Disabilities. Children with Disabilities has been a perennial major project sponsored by the California/Hawaii Elks organization. “We think this is the least we can do to repay the Elks Club for all the perks we enjoy at our dances in the lodge facilities,” said Deanna Hunter, executive director of the singles club. “Like everybody, they need to know they’re appreciated.” DeeJay Ralph Bartoli from “Route 66” will provide music for the 1950s theme dance beginning at 6:30 p.m. and ending at 10:30 p.m. at the Lancaster Elks Lodge, 240 E.
