All six “Star Wars” films will be screened for the first time in the U.S. during a 17-hour marathon at a fan convention at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The screening will begin at 9 a.m. with “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace,” followed by the two other films of the second trilogy, then by the three films of the first trilogy. The screening will end at 2 a.m. Thursday. The five-day convention begins Thursday, but the opening day is open only to fan club members.
