City offices and services resume Monday on delayed schedule

Here’s what the city said in a release to WWAY:Due to continued freezing conditions on roads, City of Wilmington offices be on a two-hour delay Monday, opening at 10 a.m. The regularly scheduled agenda briefing will begin at 10 a.m. in the 5th floor conference room of the CresCom Bank Building across the street from City Hall.- Advertisement – Trash/recycling pick up will be in service on Monday beginning at 10 a.m. Here is the revised schedule for this week:Thursday and Monday pick-up customers: Trash and recycling will be picked up Monday.Friday and Tuesday pick-up customers: Trash and recycling will be picked up Tuesday.Related Article: Construction underway for new multi-use path near Empie ParkYard waste and bulky item pick-up for Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday customers: will be picked up Wednesday. Bulky items such as couches and refrigerators are picked at no charge for city customers by appointment only – just call 341-7875 to make an appointment.The city hopes to be caught up and resume a regular schedule on Thursday. At this time, extra trash that does not fit in the cart will be picked up at no charge. Just leave the extra bags beside the cart. The city regrets any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the cooperation and patience of our citizens.last_img
